Mother's Day will be here soon!

We are busy getting ready for Mother's Day and Graduation. We have lots of delicious desserts that Mother will love to taste with her morning coffee or afternoon tea. We have a new spring lemon cupcake that teases your taste buds; also our new Mississippi Mud Cakes and Cream de Mint Brownies are a hit with our customers. If you need a Blueberry Crumb Coffee Cake or Cinnamon Streusel Coffee Cake or an Apple Streusel Cake please call and order, so we can have it fresh from the oven to you when you arrive at the shop. Everyone needs to stop in and check out the King Cakes. Today they were featured on WKRG.

Go to their web site and search for king cakes. We are using brown sugar, cinnamon, and walnuts for the filling. They are rumored to be the best on Eastern Shore including Baldwin County. Bake Shop Makes Paper

Thanks David Holloway for the great article in Wednesday's paper. We were very busy today with many Mobile customers. The cranberry oatmeal bars are a great new items so come on in and get a cupcake and try our bar cookies. The busy baker has to go bake some more to stock up for a busy day tomorrow. Busy Bakers Getting Ready For Halloween Treats

Can you believe only 4 weeks until Halloween!

We have started to decorate cup cakes for Halloween and are baking Halloween Cookies, Pumpkin Breads, Pumpkin Bar Cookies, and other surprises, so stop in and enjoy fall aroma's from our kitchen. Also, The Popcorn Creations are being created in the kitchen and will be on display for orders so please come in and see what the busy bakers are busy baking.

Busy Baker Update

Welcome back to the bake shop. Today we had a special guest David Holloway, the food editor for the Mobile Press Register.
He is doing an article on cupcakes. Check the paper on Wednesday for the article. The carmel cupcakes were a hit. We made carmel cake, filled the inside with carmel, added a carmel butter creme and then garnished the cupcakes with chopped toffee.
