Busy Baker Update

Welcome back to the bake shop. Today we had a special guest David Holloway, the food editor for the Mobile Press Register.
He is doing an article on cupcakes. Check the paper on Wednesday for the article. The carmel cupcakes were a hit. We made carmel cake, filled the inside with carmel, added a carmel butter creme and then garnished the cupcakes with chopped toffee.
Delicious! We have the fall menu so come by the shop and pick one up. Our hours are Tuesday thru Friday 10-5 and Saturday 10 -12. You can call for orders 621-2253. The busy bakers are waiting for your comments so please blog in. See you at the shop.

  2. Well, if he didn't try the Mounds cupcake...he is missing out, and we may have to send him back to "investigative journalism" school. The Mounds is incredible...I dream about them now. Moist, delicious and that chocolate swirl on top...cannot live without them! Keep up the good work.

    Ps. Can I wash dishes there for barter?
